Outside My Window

first snow
comes soft
a mist of
winter’s breath
laid gently
down
cradles all
earth
mumbles in sleep
beneath chilly cover
and rolls
over
to resume
quietly spinning
through time.

This touching poem almost makes me wish for snow (almost) :-)

I do remember such snow Laura, and it is beautiful.

I wish we had the amount of snow you showed there! We are in central Wisconsin... and we barely have a dusting!!!

Thank you for your comment over on my blog. I have been reading yours, but just have been so busy, its hard to stop by everyone I want to.

It's hard enough for me to keep up with my writing! Though God is impressing upon me, I really need to do a bit more each and every day.

Love you and miss you too!

Two gifts: snow that inspires and words that delight.
