Infatuation

feint…
they are—
these colors.

how they
tease
as I walk
by.

I don’t pretend
to know them
intimately…
just enough
that heart
takes flight,
blood quickens…
when they are
near.

infatuation.

just one
touch. that’s
all. and you
have me, you
devils. don’t
let me be.

ever.

Lovely, Laura, especially how you described infatuation.

You seamlessly went from talking about them to talking TO them...and you carried us in your heart as you did. How?

Blessings.

ooh this is wonderful; it's wrapped me around its little finger, your prose, and your painting is so soft and real--like i could reach through the screen... and laura, i'll admit i teared up, so thankful for you sharing your artwork. it's incredible, and i'm infatuated. xo

Laura

You paint your world with the colors of peace, serenity and love.

Beautiful pairing of little bird and your inspired poem.

The painting has a very Zen quality to it.

Cheers,
Joanny
