Still...

It is within my power either to serve God or not to serve Him. Serving Him, I add to my own good and the good of the whole world. Not serving Him, I forfeit my own good and deprive the world of that good which was in my power to create.--Leo Tolstoy

Have you considered how happy your art makes God today? Do what He made you to do. No excuses. The heavens delight when you do.

Don't forget about this giveaway!

Laura -- it's been too long since I've been here. But I love the encouragement that spills out of your heart onto these pages. And I love how it speaks directly to me.

Love, love, abundant love to you.

Do I hear you saying I need to quit making excuses and start writing? Or did Tolstoy say that? Love you, girl. Happy weekend!

I'm in love with that picture and its so perfect with the quote (a crowd of tomatoes gathering). Thanks for the encouragement of your words, I did embrace my art today.

I just love this. Much of what my heart has been on has been this very thing. Beauty here, friend. Your art, a blessing.

Love the quote AND the photo, the suggestion that doing something with the tomatoes can be art. You've warmed my heart with this.

My goal for life is to serve Him. Period. I'm disappointed sometimes when things don't seem to be going the direction I had thought they would, BUT I discover that HE's behind the difference, not just my thinking. I'm so glad I can trust Him. Nothing else counts.

I am still trying to see my writing as art. Your art here is beautiful.

What a wonderful reminder. That photo makes me miss our typical tomato harvest. None this year, so it's good to see such a lovely vision. I can almost taste them just looking.
As to your thoughts, I appreciate your inspiration so much.
