I have caught glimpses of it splashed along the shore—sifted
sand through fingers in my searching. I have ached with it in skin on skin—sought
its breath in the touch of a man’s hand. I have looked for it in the bottom of
a bottle—fallen into that dark abyss. I have smelled it on the scent of a baby’s
skin, lifted dew-drenched petals to the light. The first snowfall, the sound of
the rain on the roof, the sweet kiss of love’s first bloom…
There is nothing I have tried on, touched to my tongue,
carried in my arms, or charged to a credit card that hasn’t faded and worn. But
here is the one thing that never ceases to amaze—does not grow dim with time:
Look up.
Because when I shift the eyes of my heart…when I look up to
Jesus…everything else fades away.
And the wonder of His love makes everything new.
Over and over and over again.
For all the days of wonder, visit this post.

simply profound ...
Sweet, sweet- Yes. He does make it so...we just need to continually look up. ;)
Everything new and His love never disappoints.
beautiful!
The older I get, the more transfixed I am on the word "wonder." It's like I'm going back to all of those years, looking for the things I missed along the way.
